Birthday books :D

Hurrah for books! Double hurrah for birthday books!

Its nice when people know you well enough that they give you books for your birthday cause they know its the only fool-proof gift they could give! Now I have 5 more beautiful babies to add to my shelf. Unfortunately though, they'll be sitting there dusting off until the sem ends and I can finally have some quality reading time.

Soon. Real soon.

Alive, once again.

I'm referring, ofcourse, to my activity here on my blog. But I really am quite the opposite right now. So here I am venting out cause I'm feeling like, well, shit.

Have you ever felt like you're feeling so many... feelings? Ha ha, okay excessive use of the word but that's just the point. Too much feelings.

In the Philippines, there's this restaurant where they have this so called "Taksyapo Wall" where you can throw glass plates, mugs or anything breakable they have (ofcourse you'd have to pay for it first) at the wall and yell "Taksyapo!". Right now the idea seems very much appealing to me. To try and relieve some stress. Heck, it seems quite fun. I might even get my own personal wall. Someday.

Taksyapo is a noun which in english means pest or nuisance, it could also be used as an expression when mad.

Aaaaand I will also be posting recent reads... soon. :)

After 1 Million Years...

I GET TO POST AGAIN!!! YAY!!! ha ha. Anyway, I didn't get to post for the past few days because of all the stress and things I had to do before graduation. BUT NOW THAT THAT'S OVER (graduation was last night, hoo-rah!)... I have all the time in the world!!! And... It is OFFICIALLY SUMMER!!!! Woo hoo!!!
(You may notice the abundance of exclamation points in this paragraph. Sadly, I'm a dork and get over-enthusiastic when I don't get to write for a few days. BUT, it is summer, and I get over-enthusiastic about that too.)

Wow. I am now officially an alumnus of our school. Not a high school student any more. Don't know if that's something to be happy or sad about. Maybe I should be both. Bittersweet. That's what they call it right? Lots of things I'm gonna miss, my friends, classmates and the Senior people who made it the great year that it is :D I know my high school life may not be everything that I dreamed of, but it sure is one hell of an experience that I wouldn't trade for that idealistic dream of high school I had. But theres also a voice inside me that screams: "THANK GOD IT'S FINALLY OVER!", because even if my high school life was rockin, it sure was hard as hell. And I don't know why I'm going to the University of the Philippines looking for more. I must be wacked.

Thats all for now folks, gotta get ready for the distribution of final grades later. Oh what fun.. *finds something else to do to procrastinate*

BOOKS! BOOKS! BOOKS!

I have decided that I'm not going to take the summer job offered to me. I kept thinking about it yesterday and I think that I need a break this summer. Specially before I enter college (University of the Philippines) and they say I wouldn't have time for anything other than studying (that is if i want to pass), I should atleast have all the fun that I could manage if I cant have it anymore when school starts.  On each side are a few pics of the campus.

Now that the summer job is out of the way, I have more time to read my books! Yay!!! Which gives me time to participate in the 100 Books in a Year Reading Challenge hosted by the Book Chick City. So I' planning on reading the Picture of Dorian Gray by Wilde and after that the Lost Symbol by Brown (since those two had been standing on my bookshelf for about 2 months now, I feel guilty not reading them yet). Then after that I plan on buying and reading Before I Fall by Oliver, I've heard good reviews about it and I kinda like the plot of the story. I will tell you about it when I finish reading the book. An oh yeah, I almost forgot, I'll be reading Love is Hell by TOO MANY AUTHORS TO MENTION (or remember) in between all those books. The goal is to finish all these this week so I could stay on track with the "100 Books this 2011"  challenge. Wish me luck!

Hello Summer?

Okay. First post here ever. I finally got to making an account and now I'm blogging. One week till school ends and then graduation. FINALLY. After 4 years of hard work and stress, I get to graduate. So maybe its still a bit early to say hello to summer, but hell, it surely feels like it already. I'm already planning my what-to-do-list-this-summer-before-college, so here's what I've come up with so far:

1. READ. READ. READ.

2. Try to accomplish my reading challenge of 100 books this year. ( atleast make it halfway this summer)

3. BLOG. BLOG. BLOG.

4. Watch the the movies and TV series that I missed because of school.

5. BUY the movies and the series first. Wouldn't want to be staring at a blank TV screen now, would we?

6. "Try" to exercise everyday. (bleh)

7. Make the most out of the outing in Palawan.

8. Hang out with friends.

9. Have one helluvah summer :D

(I wanted to add, SUMMER JOB!!! there but the only one available is a whole day, monday - friday job. And I'm feeling kinda lazy this summer.)

I know my what-to-do-list-this-summer-before-college is kinda lame, okay, it's downright lame, but hey, that's what I like doing and how I want to spend my summer. And maybe I'm not alone, maybe there are also people out there who want to spend it the way I do (I'm with you guys :D), and maybe theres none. But who cares, it's my summer and imma have the best time. I just hope i get to do what's on the list :D

Here's a pic of me and my cousins last summer :D
